Super fun, laid back place to get some exercise that doesn't even feel like exercise! Definitely worth a visit if you're anti-gym but looking for somewhere to get moving. I went at midday on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy but I've heard it can get extremely busy apres work as it's located in the industrial estate.
It's nice to go with some friends but there were definitely people climbing solo. All ages welcome so it could be cool for families. There was a birthday party happening when I was there which I'm sure you'd need to book in advance.
Wear clothes you can move freely in. Don't wear black because you'll have chalk hand prints all over yourself. If you're going in a group you only really need one chalk bag between 3 or 4 people.
You can grab a pretty decent coffee while you're there too 🙂

We have

  • 11 circuits catering for every climber whether complete beginner or expert
  • Training board, campus and finger boards
  • Friendly, enthusiastic coaches and staff
  • Loads of car parking
  • Free WIFI
  • Great coffee, tea and snacks

How to get here?

Introduction to Bouldering

Bouldering is amazing!! It’s also a fun and social style of rock climbing. Climbers do not use ropes or harnesses, but scale shorter walls with protection from a thick, padded floor. There is very little special knowledge or equipment required to start bouldering, making it fast and easy to learn and enjoy.

How do I get started Bouldering?

Come try it! Drop in and say hello, we’ll have online inductions if the place is jammed. If it’s not that busy we can walk you through it face to face, there’s not much to it you’ll be having great fun in literally 15 minutes.

How high are the walls?

Our walls range in height from 3.8m to 4.5m on the competition wall. We’ve a kiddy circuit which uses the normal walls but the holds don’t go the whole way to the top.

Do I need any special equipment?

You will need climbing shoes and we recommend a chalk bag. If you don’t own any climbing gear, we can rent it to you.
